Melissa Gaspari is an Australian Artist based in Sydney. She has an evolving conceptual practice that merges analogue with digital to express the ethereal universality of experience through photography, installation and drawing. Her works explore questions of memory, universal experience, our relationship to space, feelings and time.

Melissa hasn’t always followed her artistic pursuits. Initially completing a Bachelor of Engineering Honours, majoring in Civil Engineering; she has spent time in the property industry, as project manager and designer manager eventually finding her other passion in sustainability in the built environment. Melissa also has a Diploma in Project Management, and Graduate Diploma in Energy Studies (Sustainability in urban places) and has undertaken detailed life cycle assessment and carbon accounts, and produced environmental, social and governance strategies for ASX-listed real-estate, property and investment companies.

She has passion for where sustainability, engineering and art intersect and fuses these elements into all she creates.
