Artwork Buyback Policy

Art is personal and sometimes styles changes, I want to keep original artworks from landfill and in homes where they are cherished for as long as possible. So I’ve put together a voluntary buyback program for original artworks purchased through the site, for as long as I or the business are still operating.

How it works

If you’d like to return an artwork, simply fill in the form to the right, or get in touch with us with a few photos and details of the piece. We’ll review the artwork and send through:

  • an initial quote range, and

  • shipping instructions or a postage label where applicable.

Once the artwork is received, we’ll inspect its condition and provide a final buyback quote.

You can then choose to:

  • accept the quote, consign or receive payment, or

  • decline the quote and have the artwork returned or collected at your expense.

Condition of artwork

To be eligible for buyback, artworks should be in original or near-original condition.

Things like folds, tears, adhesive damage, staining, heavy fading, or significant alterations may reduce the buyback value or make the artwork ineligible.

Artworks that have been heavily altered, damaged beyond repair, or changed from their original form may not be accepted.

Pricing

Buyback pricing is based on the condition, originality, age, and resale suitability of the artwork, along with current demand and any restoration required.

Final pricing is determined after the artwork has been physically reviewed.

Shipping

Reasonable shipping costs for standard returns will be covered only where agreed in advance.

Any additional shipping costs caused by framing, oversized packaging, alterations, or special handling may be deducted from the final buyback amount (which will be included in your final quote).

Ownership

If a buyback quote is accepted, ownership of the artwork transfers back to us once payment has been made.

A quick note

This buyback program is offered voluntarily and may be updated or withdrawn in future where reasonably necessary. Any changes won’t affect buybacks already in progress.
