This work explores hiraeth: the nostalgic longing for a home one can never return to, or one that never quite existed.

By capturing mundane fragments of the urban environment, it slows the chaos of everyday life, holding fleeting moments still. Architectural textures and street-side observations sit alongside each other across the sequence, pointing to a persistent search for a place to belong, one written into the work itself, quite literally: there is no place like home.
